Halloween was super fun this year, since Annabelle could interact with things more. We started off the holiday by joining Holly and a bunch of other moms from church at the nursing home in Urbana. The kids were so cute all dressed up, and "reverse trick-or-treated," visiting the elderly who were living there.

My little candy corn

Most of the kiddos

Annabelle was pretty confused by the wheelchairs, but she warmed up quickly.

Next came pumpkin carving! Jason's, of course, was the most complex pumpkin ever, but they all turned out well, and Annabelle had fun playing in the slimy seeds.

Yay!!!

She liked playing with the little pumpkin more than the big ones.

Jason's "before" photo.

I don't have a finished photo of Jason's, because his took foreeeever, and I went to bed. Hah!

Last came trick-or-treating! Our friends came over to join us, and they have a little boy who is about 2 1/2. Luke and Annabelle had a blast running from house to house! Luke said "trick-or-treat," Annabelle just made the "t" sound over and over. Annabelle was great at signing "thank you" after getting the candy, and then they were off and running to the next house! So adorable.

Giraffe and Candy Corn, ready to go!

All bundled up outside. Love the little candy corn bow (and hat!) that Emily made us.

Annabelle kept dropping her little candy bag!

First time tasting candy!

What? Do I have something on my face?
...and that was Halloween, 2012!
