The second set of sheets.

Remember this post? Yeah. That. Again.

Luckily (?) this time I heard it and knew exactly what it was and I am pretty sure my scream of "MOJO, NO!!!!" could be heard around the world, and scared the piss IN to him. He stopped long enough for Jason to come running and get him outside, and therefore only our bedroom floor and sheets fell victim instead of the whole house. Jason was still awake, so he was able move much more quickly this time, and probably knew the second I started yelling what was going on. Also luckily, we bought a second set of sheets after last time! And they were freshly folded from the clothes line only 2 days ago. This time jason cleaned the floor while I prayed that our mattress pad prevented the need for our little green cleaning machine as I stripped the bed. It did, thank God!

Aaaand I figured out why this happened both times, I think.
1. We played "laser" with him outside, and it was hot out. He was running like crazy, and drank a lot of water outside.
2. He came inside, and drank a lot more.
3. He laid down to cool off, and fell asleep. So did I. Jason got busy doing something else. Neither of us took him out an hour after he drank that much, like we would have had it been the middle of the day.
4. Mojo started to pee in his sleep, hence the pee on our bed. By that point it was too late to stop his pee, so he jumped down and came over to wake me up, all while still peeing.

It sucks no matter how you really look at it, but at least it happened the same sort of way both times so we can obviously prevent it next time (set a timer to take him out!!).

And now that my adrenaline has stopped pumping, I am going back to sleep.

If it makes you feel any better, our 9-year-old JRT has done the same thing (most recently last week) only it hasn't ever been on our bed. He plays and plays and then drinks a TON of water, falls asleep, and "forgets" that he's going to need to pee. So he walks over to where we are and it just... starts coming out of him. It's like he has no control and he knows he's not supposed to but can't stop. LOL. Honestly we usually just hold his collar so he doesn't run around the house, and wait to clean it up when he's done. Meh.
