There are huge spiders around our house. As far as we can tell from Google, they are wolf spiders. Which apparently means they are very slightly poisonous, but not horribly so. Still, with a baby around, it freaks me out. There is a huge one in the basement that ran away, Jason killed one in the garage, there's at least one in the window well, another dead one on the driveway (apparently we ran over it), and the one below was on our patio. It has a bunch of babies on it's back.
As a size ratio, the one in the photo was slightly larger than a silver dollar. ACK!! I want them GONE! We also have a lot of "daring jumping spiders" around. They aren't nearly as big, but are thick and hairy and jump seriously far distances. One of them in our kitchen jumped almost FOUR FEET when Jason tried to kill it. Seriously guys. For a person that hates spiders, there are just way.too.many. around our house!
