Baby Rackow is perfect!

Well, no one is perfect, but this baby is pretty close! We had our 32 week appointment on Friday, including an ultrasound to check the baby's growth since I have been measuring small for the last few weeks. Everything is great, and baby still did not reveal his or her gender :)

The sonographer made us nervous at first because she was very obviously questioning what my due date is...I reassured her that I know exactly when my due date is, thanks to FAM. Baby was head down, as s/he has been the whole time, and was very low down. I had to roll around on the table a few times and be tilted with my head towards the ground to try to get him or her to move out of my pelvis enough for a good head measurement. The baby opened it's eyes a double of times, and was also opening and closing it's mouth quite a bit. So cute! Heart rate was fast this time at 140.

At my appointment following the sonogram, the midwife checked over all the measurements and said that the baby looks great, is just on the small side. S/he is measuring in a the 29th percentile at only 3 lbs. 10 oz. The midwife said she would be surprised if our little one weighs more than 6.5 pounds at birth. Fine with me!! :)
